Back Gate Farm is a community for producers to create, store and sell their creations.

Our family purchased the five-acre farm on the edge of Fort Collins in 1945.  The street front of the Farm was used as a home and served as an incubator hub for many businesses including an auto body repair shop, art shop, art gallery, alabaster gifts, lapidary, TV and appliance repair, specialty shop (blinds and furnishings), welding shop, photography studio, restaurant and warehouse.  While the front of the farm became more synonymous with retail, the back of the farm was continually used as agriculture.  The farm land was used to raise pigs, horses and grow crops.

Today the farm is an example of how regenerative agriculture can thrive in an urban setting!
